William “Bill” Moran, Jr. serves as the Senior Vice President of Martin J. Braun Mechanical Contractors (Martin J. Braun), where he plays a critical role in estimating, project management, and mechanical system coordination. In this role, Bill prepares work scopes, estimates proposals for bid projects, collaborates with designers, secures vendor pricing, and develops purchase order documentation. He also manages the submittal process, oversees project execution from start to finish, and ensures successful project closeout and commissioning.

Bill began his career in the mechanical contracting industry at just 17 years old, working as a plumber’s assistant for a small residential company and completing his plumbing apprenticeship. His hands-on field experience led him to a leadership role as Project Foreman at a local mechanical contractor. In 1990, he joined Martin J. Braun as a Project Manager and Estimator. Since 2000, he has continued to grow within Martin J. Braun, where he was named Vice President and Partner of Fidelity Building Services Group in 2005.

With over five decades of experience in the industry, Bill brings a wealth of technical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to quality. He has been instrumental in expanding Martin J. Braun’s presence in the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia markets, and solidifying the organization as the region’s premier full-service mechanical contractor. Bill holds a State of Maryland Master Plumber’s License and is a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph College Preparatory in Baltimore, Maryland.
